Sense of Time..

Just a quick stop tonight! I thought I would share with you a 6 x 6 layout I did of the boys, the photo was taken a couple of years ago down at our cabin in Apollo Bay. Don’t look too closely at their Nutella smeared faces! The layout was also my shoe box swap for our team stamp camp. I had organised the camp to get my team together, along with some friends who were also Stampin Up Demonstrators. The Spring mini had just come out, so I asked everyone to prepare a shoe box swap (or a make and take) using products from the mini for us all to do. It is one of the things I miss, attending classes where all the preparation and design is done for you, but this way, I had 24 make and takes to do over the weekend which was great!
I love this set ‘Sense of Time’, it gives your creations a real vintage feel and is perfect for those hard to do masculine cards. I made a pull out journalling box to sit behind the photo, pulled out using the tab. (and of course it is sitting crooked in this photo!) I created a mask over the clock and then just smooshed my not quite navy ink pad all over the card as well as stamping the wheel image in chocolate and navy randomly. Very simple.

Here are some of our Shoe Box Swaps. I had them all numbered and everyone had a sheet with corresponding numbers on it so they could cross off the ones they had done.

And here is our group. We are sitting in a really 70’s style Conversation pit which doubled up as our SingStar /Karaoke stage once dinner was finished with. I came home so sleep deprived but it was sooo worth it!
I also had little pillow gifts for my girls as a welcome gift but I forgot to take photo’s of course!!
I am organising another camp for the end of November and can’t wait! If you are thinking of joining Stampin up, this month is the month to do it with the wonderful promotion we have running, and even better, you can come along to our camp!
Well it is daylight savings here which takes my body a wee bit to get used to – I just don’t do early mornings well and tomorrow is the first day back at school so an even earlier start -I better set 2 alarm clocks (thanks Princess for that hint!!)

Gorgeous layout Yvonne. Stamp Camp looked like so much fun, I’m looking forward to the next one.
