Goodmorning All!!!
By Yvonne | July 23, 2009
Cough cough cough… look at that layer of dust sitting on this blog! To say it has been a little while since my last post is a bit of an understatement and for that I do apologise. I have had an interesting month, and it has all but made it impossible for me to maintain my blog. I know we would all love to have more time in the day and over the past month I have felt like I was being pulled in all directions and yet achieving nothing. Thank you for worrying about me, I wish I could say that I have been on holiday all month but that would be too easy! I promise to try and update more often, buy my husband has been working intersate a lot recently and is going away for the whole of August so it means no spare time for anything. Anyway, that is enough complaing at the moment, I have things to share with you!

Here is an engagement card I made recently and it uses a stamp set I had never even mounted let alone inked yet – Life definitions. I love crisp white cards and teamed with red you can’t really go wrong!

I have actually run the odd class and here is one of the Chrismas cards we made. I love this set ‘A wish for peace’ it is just so lovely. I have teamed it up with baja breeze and Going Gray card for another clean looking card. Not sure if you can see all the dazzling diamonds on the tree but it sure does sparkle in real life!

Here are some girly cards we did at a class and it uses ‘Big bold birthday’ a great little set and pink pirouette card and accessories.
Over the past few weeks, I have received some gorgeous cards from people and one of them I liked so much that I have been casing it to use in workshops! The above cards were based on a creation by Amanda one of my wonderful team members, so thank you for the inspiration Amanda, I just loved the colour scheme and layout.
And here is the same idea again – can you tell I loved working with this colour scheme lol?!
Remember those watercoloured roses I love so much? Well here they are again, made as a 65th birthday card for my MIL.
It has been ages since I have made a candle and I thought I would have a go at transfering a photo onto the candle and I was so happy with the results! My boys went to Mount Hotham for a few days to learn to ski and here they are with my mum, sister and uncle. If you would like to see my kids learning to ski, here is a video I put together of the boys (you may want to turn the music down though – I added one of DS10’s favourite song’s to it and it is LOUD)

I also have the cutest pictures of Little miss at her first dancing concert, photo’s of DH’s 40th birthday (eek!) and of the trip to Sydney I took him on as a birthday gift where we climed the Harbour bridge which was AMAZING but I have to leave something for another day so hopefully these pics wll keep you busy for a little while.
Nice to be back here, have a wonderful night xx

Great to see you back. Lovely work, I love the sparkly rockets & the rose MIL card best. You inspired me to try that watercolour rose technique, it is so fun. Even entered one in one of Keesh’s challenges.
All the best with everything while your hubby is away. There’s no pressure on you to blog, just know that we enjoy it when you can & understand when you can’t. Have a great day,
