Incentive trip

By Yvonne | August 26, 2009

Boy oh boy have I had a busy 4 weeks! Birthdays, a Communion, a Stamp camp and the Stampin Up Incentive trip just to mention the main events! This is DH’s last week away interstate (yay!!) so I am hoping to get back into a routine and have even restarted my classes this week to get myself back in the swing of things. I have to tell you that I have had the most amazing 5 days in Noosa all thanks to Stampin up! Last year was my first Incentive trip and it was amazing but this year was even better. The lead up to the trip was pretty hectic, in fact I didn’t think that I would get all my swaps done at all – we have a morning of stamping while on the trip and also a swap, so I had 35 cards to make and this is what my table looked liked 2 days before we flew out: bits of this and bits of that, and mess everywhere!

Here is my finished swap card made using A rose is a Rose which is such a beautiful set.incentive-swap1

Our theme was to use only products from the main catalogue, and I really wanted to mat my sentiment onto a scallop oval  but thought I had better stick to the rules for a change! I received so many gorgeous creations in return and will show them to you tomorrow, can’t  show you everthing today can I?!

Anyway, we were picked up from the airport and taken to The Sheraton Resort  in Noosa where the temperature was so much more wonderful than the wind and cold of Melbourne! I was so looking forward to spending time with DH and with my SU friends. incentive-night1

This lovel vase was sitting in our room and it was etched with Noosa Heads Stampin up 2009 which is a great momento.

Stampin up LOVE to surprise up with gifts and after our welcome dinner, we came back to our rooms to to find this cute apron, so of course I just had to try it on!!

THe following day we took a cruise on Noosa River to Rick’s restaurant, where we had donned our aprons and hats and proceeded to having a cooking lessons! Here is a pic of the river.

Our group made stuffed olives which was so much fun! Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries so there are no pics of  the event, but I have to say that we were so well looked after and spoiled, we ate so many courses and ended up having desert on the ferry back.

There were more presents that night, and it was all stamping supplies, inks, A new stamp set not available anywhere and more! Unfortunately I can’t show you yet, but can show you us working with them!

I will post up the rest of the trip tomorrow as I need to pick up the boys from school!

Your card is just beautiful and you did a great job to get them altogether before you went away. You look like you had an amazing time while you were away and were spoilt which was well deserved. Oh and yes I like that top you are wearing in the photo with keesh, I heard about your big shopping day. Take care Susannah.
