petal pizzaz

By Yvonne | June 22, 2009

I was lucky enough to receive the gorgeous stamp set Petal Pizzaz at our Stampin’ Up convention and have to say I have been having a ball with it. I used it at a stamp-a-stack I held recently and these are the cards we made.

Stamps: Petal pizzaz, on your birthday

Inks: riding hood red, pirouette pink, kiwi kiss, tangerine tango

card: riding hood red,  kiwi kiss, very vanilla, riding hood red DSP.

Accessories: Kiwi kiss grosgrain ribbon, vintage brads, dimensional adhesives, eyelet border punch.

I think there are some sets that you can’t really make a bad card with and this is one of them, you can just stamp away randomly and your card will look bright, bold and pretty! It is also a great set to do layering with, as you can see in the first card, the flowers all fit nicely over each other.

It is nice and quiet at home tonight, the boys are away with my mum and sister, they have gone to Mount Hotham for a few days where my uncle runs a ski resort. It is their first time at the snow and they have been so excited about this trip and the fact that they are going to learn to ski and snowboard hopefully. But what it means for me is beautiful, blissful QUIET  which is such a rarity in my house – how lucky am I lol!!!
