Trendy Trees

By Yvonne | June 15, 2009

I have just had the nicest weekend, I spent Saturday with some of my stampin’ friends – thanks Kristy for letting us all visit and play – and then Sunday was spent with school friends while our multitude of children (well it seemed that way as there were 11 kids there) ran amuck!  Anyway, I thought I would share with you one of the cards we did as part of my last stamp-a-stack, using Trendy Trees.

You really need a stamp-a-ma-jig with this set to make the tree’s line up properly. I covered the tree’s with crystal effects and I love the shiny look!

All supplies by Stampin’Up:

Inks: chocolate chip, old olive, certainly celery

Stamps: Trendy Trees, boho background

Card: baja breeze, very vanilla, baja breeze DSP, old olive

Accessories: baja breeze grosgrain ribbon, word window punch, SAMJ, large oval punch, scallop edge punch, SAMJ. I love the summery look of these cards, I go through so much of  baja breeze paper, I think it is the perfect colour to co-ordinate with so many colours.

I have just booked some flights for DH and I to Sydney as it is his 40th birthday next month (boy has that time gone fast) and I am so excited - the kids are staying behind with their grandparents so we will have 3 days of quiet woo hoo!! And then 2 weeks later I have organised a Demonstrator Stamp Camp – how great is that! 3 days of stamping, laughing and eating  with like minded creative people- hmmm, not sure which weekend I am looking forward to more LOL!!!!!
